I’m seeking a full-time, permanent role within the Melbourne design ecosystem where my depth and breadth of experience can contribute to long-term goals. Wherever I land, I will stay for the long haul. I’m targeting mid-to-graduate-level positions in the following spaces; however, I’m open to parallel opportunities heretofore unknown:
Social impact consultancies (Paper Giant, Today, Meld, Portable) — strategic researcher, content strategist, communications coordinator
Victorian Public Service (Public Skills Australia, OVGA, local councils) — futures analyst, design advisor, community development officer
Research institutes (MCRI, WEHI, CSIRO) — research officer (knowledge translation), communications advisor
Conferencing and professional bodies (MCEC, DIA, Think Business Events) — conference producer, events and communications manager
Design studios that might be looking for a Swiss Army hire who can hit the ground running.
What I’m searching for.
A note on level and fit
My background may read as senior. It needn’t. My experience has accumulated across part-time, contract, and parallel engagements — the hallmarks of a productive portfolio career — rather than within the usual institutional structures that formally confer seniority.
What this history has produced is a mid-level professional with an unusually broad foundation, a high degree of self-direction, and a genuine desire for the stability and organisational belonging that comes with full-time work. I require no onboarding in research practice, strategic communication, or stakeholder management. I bring intellectual generosity to team culture, and I’m driven to help colleagues rather than position myself above them.
I’m not a senior professional reluctantly accepting a lesser role. I’m someone whose breadth of capability is looking for a single place to land — and I’ll handsomely and joyfully reward the organisation that provides it.
